IKA utökar sin magnetomrörarserie med ”storebrorsan” I-MAG en kraftfull omrörare med kapacitet för upp till 300 liter. Nyckelfunktioner: en stark drivenhet med hög IP-skyddsklass (IP64), en separat kabelansluten styrenhet och ett brett utbud av gränssnitt.

IKA's new industrial magnetic stirrer is suitable in the production environment for large volumes with low viscosity; on a pilot scale, it also mixes higher viscosity media. I-MAG has a strikingly compact design and thanks to numerous digital and analog interfaces, integration into process engineering systems or networks is simple.

Robust and strong
The drive unit consists of a powerful, wear-free motor and the magnetic coupling with high-performance neodymium magnets. Thus, it mixes particularly effectively - even liquids in double-walled containers or containers with insulated bottoms. Thanks to its closed stainless steel housing, I-MAG has a very high IP protection class of 64, which means it can be used without restriction even under harsh conditions and is easy to clean.

Process-safe
In order to reliably achieve high speeds even under difficult conditions, I-MAG has an adjustable start-up speed that prevents the magnetic stir bar from breaking off during the acceleration phase. It is also process-safe thanks to integrated detection of magnetic stir bar coupling. In the event of a tear-off or failure of magnetic coupling, the user is informed via the modern display of the control unit. Incidentally, I-MAG can be controlled fully automatically with laboratory software such as Labworldsoft® 6.
